20 April 2012: SCCC Festival Sounds Concert comes to Still Bay!

4 & 5 April 2012: SCCC Debut @ the ABSA KKNK 2012!

It was a proud moment for the SCCC when, after 16 years, our Choir presented its debut production at the 18th ABSA KKNK in Oudtshoorn! We sang two amazing concerts of the highest standard, of which we are very proud!

 

We were also interviewed on the RSG stage by Martelize Brink and Johan Rademan during a live broadcast from the KKNK, and our hit song "Nkosi Sipea" was broadcast on radio, leading to a stream of congratulation messages from all over South Africa!

9-12 February 2012: Annual Training Camp

The SCCC held its annual training camp at Scripture Union's camp site, in Carmel, Victoria Bay. 43 Pieces were workshopped, the Choir underwent a thoroughly enjoyable team-building training course, and the new members were inducted into the Choir, proudly receiving their badges as bona fide members. the new prefect body of the Choir was elected and the highlight of the weekend was the Saturday night party!

 

4-7 January 2012: Annual Commencement Workshop

The latest, freshest and youngest contingent of the South Cape Children's Choir met during the last week of the January holidays to begin their study of the 2012 repertoire. Despite the summer heat and difficult music involved, the new SCCC did an excellent job of learning their new music in a buoyant spirit, as the following photos prove:
