We are an amateur regional children’s choir based in George, in the beautiful Garden Route of the Western Cape, South Africa, comprising 90 talented children (aged 9-16) who are passionate about singing together in harmony.
Since our inception, in 1996, we have performed with many of the best choirs in the world and have been featured on South African radio and TV programs on a regular basis.
Our members are carefully auditioned and selected from public, private and homeschooled choristers representing the centres of George, Knysna, Oudtshoorn, Mossel Bay, Hartenbos, Ladismith and Plettenberg Bay, and are proud ambassadors of choral music for South Africa.
Rehearsals take place every Friday afternoon for 3 1/2 hours (approximately 105 hrs per year), several Saturdays, and at least 9 days during school holidays, under the auspices of musical director, Jan-Erik Swart, and a team of dedicated voice coaches, trainers, management members and parents.
